Rone is the stage name of Erwan Castex, a French electronic music producer from Boulogne-Billancourt who began releasing music in 2010. Originally working as a filmmaker, Castex composed his first musical creations between film shoots before establishing himself as a electronic artist. He has maintained a consistent output with 20 releases primarily through the Infine label, spanning from his debut in January 2010 through upcoming releases scheduled into 2025.

Rone produces electronica that incorporates elements of house, indie dance, and peak time techno, with influences from IDM, ambient techno, and downtempo. His sound blends synth-pop sensibilities with electronic dance structures, creating tracks that work across different contexts from introspective listening to dancefloor applications. The Infine label serves as his primary home for releases, providing a platform for his genre-crossing approach that moves between ambient textures and driving rhythms.
