Roog

Rogier van Bueren, known professionally as Roog, operates from Amsterdam where he produces house music across multiple subgenres. The Dutch artist co-founded two record labels: Hardsoul Pressings in 2000 and Roog & Greg Electronics in 2006 alongside his brother Greg van Bueren, who is also a DJ and producer. Roog began releasing music under his current moniker in 2017, with his first tracked release appearing in October of that year.

Roog's productions span house, deep house, funky house, and jackin house territories, releasing music on labels including Altra Moda, Glasgow Underground, SAFE MUSIC, Freeze Records, and Lapsus Music. His catalog demonstrates a focus on groove-driven house music that moves between deeper, atmospheric textures and more upfront, dancefloor-oriented material. With 13 releases documented since 2017, Roog maintains consistent output that targets both underground house floors and more accessible club environments, drawing from his experience in Amsterdam's electronic music scene.
