Route 8

Route 8 is the project of Gergely Szilveszter Horváth, a producer and DJ from Budapest, Hungary who is currently based in Vienna, Austria. He began releasing electronic music in April 2014 and operates under several aliases including Q3A and DJ Ciderman. Route 8 has maintained steady output with 10 releases spanning over a decade of production.

Route 8's sound moves between house, deep house, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on respected labels including Lobster Theremin and This Is Our Time. His productions blend leftfield house and techno elements, creating tracks suitable for both deep listening and peak-hour DJ sets. The project's genre-fluid approach allows Route 8 to navigate between the deeper, more contemplative side of house music and harder-hitting techno arrangements designed for club environments.
