Roy Gilles

Roy Gilles is an Italian producer who began releasing music in 2010, operating under several aliases including M.a.k.o.t.o., Ruff Degan, and Paper Hills. He has released eight tracks on Recycle Records between 2010 and 2015, with his debut release appearing in October 2010 and his most recent in July 2015.

Gilles produces deep house and house music that draws heavily from late 1980s and early 1990s aesthetics, incorporating vintage drum machines, keyboards, and synthesizers into his productions. His sound focuses on classic deep house vibes with an emphasis on recreating the atmospheric qualities of early house music.
