About
RUIZ OSC1 is the moniker of Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz, a DJ and producer from Bogotá, Colombia, who began releasing music in July 2023. She also records under the alias Stinky Producer and has performed at European venues including Tresor, RSO, Rex, Industrial Copera, and Gotec Club. Her early musical influences stem from her mother's background as a music dealer specializing in salsa, merengue, and traditional Colombian folklore sounds.
RUIZ OSC1 produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving variations, complemented by deep house and jackin house tracks. Her nine releases appear on labels including Suara, RAW, Agora Records, ANAOH, and Stützpunkt. Her techno productions lean toward the harder spectrum with hypnotic elements, while her house material operates in deeper, groove-oriented territory suitable for extended DJ sets.
