Ryan Davis

Ryan Davis is the stage name of Sebastian Waack, a German DJ and producer born in Magdeburg in 1983 who now operates from Berlin. He began his musical journey with classical guitar training at age 9, continuing until 18, before transitioning to DJing at 21. Davis launched his electronic music career in 2009 with his first release and has since built a catalog of 38 releases across the electronic music spectrum.

Davis produces across multiple genres, ranging from deep house and melodic house & techno to peak time driving techno and tech house. His music appears on respected labels including Anjunadeep, Watergate Records, Traum, Mango Alley, and Just This. The diversity of his label roster reflects his versatility as a producer, moving between the deeper, more atmospheric sounds suited to Anjunadeep and Traum, and the harder-hitting techno orientations of labels like Watergate Records. His classical guitar background influences his approach to electronic production, particularly in his melodic house & techno work where analog tones and musical structure play prominent roles.
