Sammy W

Sammy W is a producer duo from Bucharest, Romania, consisting of Semion Visnivetchil and Alexei Emelianov. The pair co-founded the Tobus label and have operated under the alias Perky Wires. They began releasing music in 2011 and accumulated 28 releases through 2019 across their various projects.

Their sound spans nu disco, tech house, indie dance, deep house, and house music. Sammy W releases primarily through their own Tobus Limited and its sister imprint Tobus X, while also placing tracks on established labels including Bunny Tiger, Mr. Carter, and CUFF. Their productions blend the groove-centric elements of nu disco with the driving rhythms of tech house, creating dancefloor-focused tracks that work across multiple electronic music contexts.
