Samuel L Session

Samuel L Session is Swedish producer Samuel Larsson, based in Gothenburg. He began releasing music in 2010 and operates under several aliases including Gillespie, Samuel's Bongo Squad, and Raw Material. Larsson co-founded Solid Beat Records in 1996 with Max Reich, and has since established multiple imprints of his own: Cycle (1997-2001), SLS (2001-2005), and Klap Klap (2006-2014). His current SLS label continues to serve as a primary outlet for his productions.

Samuel L Session produces driving techno that spans peak-time and raw hypnotic territories, alongside tech house and deep house excursions. His 88 releases have appeared on labels including his own SLS imprint, Sounds R Us Recordings, Dolma Records, Crash!, and Affin. The Swedish producer's tribal techno foundations inform his harder-edged material, while his deep house tracks explore more subdued tempos. His output from 2010 to 2023 demonstrates consistent productivity across multiple electronic music subgenres, making him suitable for DJs programming both peak-hour and after-hours sets.
