Samuel Rohrer

Samuel Rohrer is a Swiss electronic music producer from Bern, born in 1977 and now based in Berlin. Originally trained as a jazz drummer from age 14, he studied with Gilbert Paeffgen and pursued music education in Berne and Boston before transitioning into electronic music production. Rohrer began releasing electronic music in March 2015 and operates primarily through Arjunamusic, his primary label outlet.

Rohrer's electronic output spans minimal/deep tech, house, and driving techno, drawing from his jazz background to create rhythmically sophisticated productions. His releases on Arjunamusic demonstrate a consistent evolution from experimental electronica toward more club-focused material, with recent output leaning into peak time techno territory. The Swiss producer maintains an active release schedule, with his most recent material appearing in November 2024, showing a progression toward harder, more driving sounds suitable for late-night dancefloor environments.
