Santé is the alias of German producer Philipp Maier, who operates from Berlin. He began releasing music in August 2010 and founded his label Avotre in 2012. In 2021, he launched LSF21+ together with his brother Marius Maier, who records under the name Re.You.
Santé produces tech house and deep house with occasional ventures into minimal deep tech and peak time techno. His 86 releases span labels including Avotre, Objektivity, Knee Deep In Sound, 8bit, and ElRow Music. His sound centers on driving tech house rhythms with deep house sensibilities, maintaining consistent output from 2010 through 2020. The music typically operates in the 120-128 BPM range suitable for both peak time and after-hours sets, with his Avotre releases showcasing his preference for groove-focused productions that work across different points in a DJ set.
