Sasse

Sasse is the stage name of Klas-Henrik Lindblad, a Finnish DJ and producer born in 1973 who relocated to Berlin. He operates under several aliases including Freestyle Man, Morris Brown, and Bluekey. Lindblad founded the label Moodmusic and runs studios in both Turku, Finland (West20 Turku) and Berlin (Blackhead Studios). His recording career spans from 2010 to 2021, accumulating 68 releases across his various projects.

His sound encompasses deep house, tech house, and minimal deep tech, with occasional ventures into peak time techno. Sasse releases primarily on Moodmusic, his own imprint, alongside established labels including Apersonal Music, Mina Records, Seven Villas, and My Favorite Robot Records. His productions lean toward the deeper end of the house spectrum, favoring groove-driven arrangements and warm, analog-influenced textures. The Berlin-based producer maintains a consistent output that balances dancefloor functionality with intricate production detail, making his releases suitable for both peak time sets and deeper, more contemplative moments.
