Schmutz

Schmutz is a Northern Irish house music duo from Belfast that began producing in 2012. The group started releasing electronic music in 2014, with their first track appearing on Omnidisc in April of that year. Over their active period from 2014 to 2020, they released five tracks across three different labels.

Their sound spans deep house, melodic house & techno, and peak time driving techno. Schmutz has released music on Omnidisc, FINA White, and Me Me Me, with their most recent release appearing on the latter label in January 2020. The duo's productions range from deeper, more melodic territory to driving, peak-time techno designed for dancefloor impact, making their catalog suitable for both warm-up and prime-time DJ sets.
