Sebastian Mullaert

Sebastian Mullaert is a Swedish electronic music artist and DJ from Malmö who began his career in the early 1990s. Born in 1977, Mullaert comes from a musical family and trained on violin, piano, and electric organ before transitioning to electronic music production. He operates under several aliases including Filur, Ooze, and Kooler, and co-founded the Circle Of Live label and event organization alongside Chillosophy Music. Mullaert also runs High-Hat Studios, a mastering facility where he works as a mastering engineer and record producer.

Mullaert's sound spans techno, tech house, and minimal deep tech, with releases appearing on respected labels including Hypercolour, Mule Musiq, Kontra-Musik, Wa Wu We, and Bigamo Musik since 2010. His productions range from peak time driving techno to more contemplative minimal arrangements, often incorporating organic textures and hypnotic progressions that reflect his classical music background. With 36 releases tracked through 2025, Mullaert maintains a consistent output that bridges the gap between dancefloor functionality and deeper listening experiences, making his catalog equally suitable for club sets and home listening.
