Second Storey is the project of Bristol-based producer Alec Storey, who began releasing electronic music in 2014. He also produces under the aliases Al'Tourettes and Alec Storey, with his debut release appearing on Mechatronica in August 2014. Since establishing the Second Storey moniker, he has released across ten different projects through 2026.
His sound spans peak-time techno and driving electronic music, with releases appearing on respected labels including Houndstooth, R&S Records, Mechatronica, and Frustrated Funk. Second Storey incorporates elements of classic Detroit electro and house into his productions, creating high-energy tracks suited for peak-time sets. His output on R&S Records and Houndstooth positions him within the contemporary UK techno scene, while his Frustrated Funk releases explore more house-oriented territory.
