Seuil

Seuil is the project of French DJ and producer Alexis Benard, born in 1981 in La Reunion in the Indian Ocean. He also releases music under the alias 97.4, and began his recording career in 2011 with his first release appearing in March of that year. Benard has maintained a focused output over six years, releasing seven tracks exclusively on the Concrete Music 7AM label through 2017.

His productions span deep house, tech house, house, and peak time driving techno, demonstrating range across the four-on-the-floor spectrum. The Concrete Music 7AM releases showcase his ability to move between the deeper, more atmospheric territories of house music and the harder-edged, club-focused techno that drives peak-time dance floors. His sound operates within the mid-to-high energy range typical of contemporary European house and techno, with his last release appearing in April 2017 marking the end of his most active recording period.
