Sharam Jey

German DJ and producer Sharam Jey, born Sharam Nickjey Khososi, operates from Cologne where his involvement in house music began in the early 1990s at the city's Warehouse club. He runs King Kong Records and has released music under aliases including Billy Hendrix, James Douglas, and Mirage. Jey began his recording career in 2011 and has accumulated 75 releases across his active period through 2023.

Jey produces indie dance, nu disco, tech house, deep house, and traditional house music, releasing on labels including Bunny Tiger, Bunny Tiger Dubs, his own King Kong Records, Nurvous Records, and KATERMUKKE. His sound spans the house spectrum from deeper, more melodic productions to higher-energy tech house tracks suitable for peak-time DJ sets. The producer maintains consistent output across multiple house subgenres while operating his own imprint as a platform for both his music and other artists in the German electronic music scene.
