Sian

Sian, real name Graham Goodwin, is a Dublin-born DJ and producer now based in Spain. He founded Octopus Records and began releasing music in October 2009, accumulating 139 releases through February 2018. Goodwin also releases under the alias Six and operates the Break New Soil Recordings imprint alongside his flagship Octopus label.

Sian's sound spans techno and tech house territories, with releases covering peak time driving techno, minimal deep tech, and house variations. His productions appear primarily on his own Octopus Records and Break New Soil Recordings labels, establishing him as both artist and label curator. The music maintains a driving, club-focused approach across tempo ranges, with his Octopus releases typically delivering the harder techno material while Break New Soil explores broader electronic territories including minimal and deep tech variations.
