Simoncino

Simone Vescovo, known as Simoncino, is an Italian DJ and producer who founded HotMix Records. He began producing music in 2009, incorporating vintage synthesizers and drum machines into his sound, and released his first tracked material in 2012. Vescovo also operates under the aliases Late Night Magic and Nick Anthony, demonstrating his range across different electronic music contexts.

Simoncino's sound draws heavily from Chicago house and Detroit techno influences, spanning house, deep house, and peak time techno territories. His 21 releases since 2012 have appeared on respected underground labels including L.I.E.S., Rawax, creme organization, and Unknown to the Unknown, alongside his own HotMix Records imprint. His productions typically feature the analog warmth of classic drum machines and synthesizers, creating tracks that work equally well in intimate club settings and peak-hour dance floor moments. His catalog demonstrates a consistent evolution from deeper house territories toward more driving techno constructions, while maintaining the vintage analog aesthetic that defines his approach.
