Siu Mata

Siu Mata is the production alias of Arnaud Herard, a DJ and producer based in Paris, France. He began releasing music in December 2022 and runs the record label WAJANG alongside Amor Satyr, with whom he also forms the duo Sexapil. Since his debut, he has released five tracks spanning electro, bass house, breakbeat, and electronica across WAJANG and Nervous Horizon.

His productions blend classic Detroit electro influences with modern bass house and UK breakbeat elements, creating tracks that work across club and warehouse settings. Siu Mata's releases on Nervous Horizon showcase his bass-heavy approach to electronic music, while his WAJANG output explores more experimental electronica territory. His sound incorporates the driving rhythms of electro with the low-end weight of contemporary bass music, resulting in tracks that bridge underground dance floor traditions with current club trends.
