Size 9 is the alias of Joshua Winkelman, the Philadelphia-based producer better known as Josh Wink. Operating under multiple monikers including The Crusher and Dinky Dog, Winkelman has maintained the Size 9 project alongside his primary Josh Wink identity since the 1990s. The Size 9 moniker gained recognition through releases like "I'm Ready" and remix work for Bedrock Records.

Size 9's sound spans peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, with occasional ventures into house, indie dance, and jackin house. The project releases on Factory 93 Records, delivering tracks that range from hypnotic underground cuts to peak time dancefloor weapons. The music maintains the acid-tinged sensibilities and precise production Winkelman developed through his decades in electronic music, with tempos typically suited for late-night club sets and warehouse environments.
