SLP

SLP is the project of UK producer Simon Gannon, who also operates under the aliases Simon Lovechild and Simon Gannon. The producer began releasing music under the SLP moniker in August 2022, establishing a presence in the underground electronic scene with seven releases over the past three years. Gannon works as both a keyboard player and songwriter, bringing instrumental proficiency to his electronic productions.

SLP's sound spans indie dance, melodic house & techno, afro house, and tech house, demonstrating versatility across multiple electronic subgenres. The project releases music primarily through Sincopat and BeatFreak Recordings, two labels known for supporting forward-thinking house and techno artists. SLP's productions blend melodic elements with dancefloor-focused rhythms, incorporating both the groove-heavy characteristics of afro house and the refined progressions typical of melodic techno. The project maintains consistent output, with releases scheduled through December 2025, indicating an active production schedule and ongoing label relationships.
