Spray is a UK duo consisting of siblings John Matthews and Jenny Matthews from Lancashire. The group formed in 2001 after both members departed from the Cuban Boys collective in the late 1990s. The duo began releasing electronic music through various labels in 2022, with their first release appearing in November of that year.
Spray produces house and techno with emphasis on peak-time driving energy, alongside progressive house and raw hypnotic trance elements. The duo releases music on Craigie Knowes, Kalahari Oyster Cult, and Radiant Love, with five releases appearing between November 2022 and June 2024. Their sound encompasses both driving techno suitable for peak-time sets and deeper progressive house tracks, spanning multiple tempo ranges within the house and techno spectrum.
