Sraunus

Sraunus is the project of Paulius Markutis, a producer from Vilnius who began releasing music in 2014. Operating under the alias Vamzdys as well, Markutis has maintained a focused output with five releases primarily through the Greyscale label over more than a decade of activity.

His sound spans ambient textures and various shades of techno, from raw and hypnotic iterations to dub techno and peak time driving tracks. The Greyscale releases showcase his range between contemplative ambient pieces and harder-edged techno designed for club environments. Sraunus demonstrates versatility in tempo and energy, moving between meditative soundscapes and driving rhythms that cater to both home listening and dancefloor contexts.
