Stave

Stave is the techno project of Chicago-based producer Jonathan Krohn, who began releasing music in 2015. Krohn operates under the Stave moniker exclusively, with his debut release appearing on Pi Electronics in March 2015. He maintains an active presence across digital platforms including SoundCloud and Bandcamp through his association with Standards & Practices.

Stave produces peak time driving techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variants, releasing primarily through Pi Electronics and Standards & Practices labels. His sound spans from high-energy club-ready tracks to more introspective electronica compositions, demonstrating range within techno's darker territories. Since 2015, Krohn has maintained consistent output with five releases documented through 2025, establishing Stave as a reliable source for underground techno that bridges the gap between dancefloor functionality and deeper listening experiences.
