Steevio

Steevio is a UK-based electronic musician who began producing live improvised modular techno in 2009. He co-managed one of the UK's first electro-funk and breakdance clubs called "The Sidewalk" and co-founded multiple labels including Roost Records and Torque Records. In 2000, he helped create the Mindtours label in collaboration with suzybee, and together they established both Freerotation Festival and its associated record label. He has released music under aliases including 3000003 and Steeve Swayambhunath, with his first documented release appearing in 2014.

His sound spans peak time driving techno, raw deep hypnotic techno, tech house, and leftfield house variations. Steevio releases on labels including Wisdom Teeth and Initiate Records, with five releases documented between 2014 and 2025. His approach centers on live improvised modular techno production, creating music that moves between the driving energy of peak time sets and the deeper, more hypnotic territories of underground techno. The range from tech house to raw techno indicates an artist comfortable working across different energy levels and moods within the electronic music spectrum.
