Stereo MC’s

Stereo MC's is a British group formed in Clapham, London in 1985 by Rob Birch and Nick Hallam. The current lineup includes the two founders along with drummer Owen Rossiter and singer Cath Coffey, with Verona Davis also listed as a member. The group operates under the alias Ultimatum and runs the Connected label, which maintains an online presence at connected.co.com.

Their electronic music output spans techno, melodic house & techno, deep house, house, and tech house across labels including Connected Frontline, Feathers & Bones, Avotre, Skint Records, and Mobilee Records. With 12 releases tracked since their first electronic release in December 2011, their most recent output appeared in December 2024. The group's sound encompasses peak time driving techno alongside more melodic house territories, representing a shift from their original hip hop and acid jazz foundations into contemporary electronic dance music production.
