Moore, widely recognized as the "godfather of home recording" and pioneer of lo-fi/DIY music, began releasing electronic dance music under the Stevie R moniker in August 2013. The son of session bassist Bob Moore, he has maintained consistent output in the electronic scene with eleven releases spanning over a decade through 2024.

Stevie R's productions blend Indie Dance with House, Deep House, and Melodic House & Techno elements, occasionally venturing into Peak Time Driving Techno territory.
