Storm
🇩🇪About
Storm is a German electronic music group consisting of Rolf Ellmer and Markus Löffel, who also perform under the aliases Jam & Spoon, Tokyo Ghetto Pussy, and Trancy Spacer & Spacy Trancer. The duo began releasing music under the Storm moniker in 2013, with their first release appearing on September 24 of that year. Their current catalog spans six releases on Black Hole Recordings, with their most recent output scheduled for February 2026.
Storm's sound encompasses a diverse range of electronic genres, moving between hard techno, tech house, deep house, and hard dance territories with hardcore and neo rave influences. Their releases on Black Hole Recordings demonstrate a versatility that allows DJs to deploy their tracks across different energy levels within a set. The duo's background in trance music, evidenced by their extensive work as Jam & Spoon, informs their current harder-edged productions while maintaining the melodic sensibilities that characterize their broader discography. Their tempo range varies significantly depending on the genre focus of each release, from the deeper, more measured approach of their house tracks to the driving intensity of their hard techno material.
