Subgate

Subgate is the artist name of Ondřej Beránek, a Czech DJ and producer who began his career in 2001 in northern Bohemia. He became resident of the Liquid club and was later represented by Dynamic Line agency, which organized the Shotgun Euro festival. Subgate started releasing original productions in 2021, with his first track appearing on Off Recordings in July of that year.

Subgate produces peak time driving techno and electronic music, releasing on labels including Phobiq, Renesanz, Off Recordings, Hydrozoa, and OneWay. His sound focuses on dynamic and uncompromising techno designed for peak hours, maintaining the high-energy approach he developed during his two decades of DJing experience. Since 2021, he has released six tracks across these imprints, with his most recent release scheduled for August 2025 on OneWay.
