Sublee
About
Sublee is the project of Stefan Nicu, a producer and DJ from Bucharest, Romania. He also records under the aliases Nicu Ștefan and The Road Runner. Nicu began releasing music in 2017 and has accumulated 13 releases across his various projects, establishing himself within the Romanian electronic music scene over the past seven years.
His sound spans minimal/deep tech and house territories, with productions that range from after-hours essentials to peak time driving techno. Sublee releases on labels including serialism records, Rawax, Playedby, and Meander, while also putting out material independently. His approach to electronic music emphasizes the deeper, more hypnotic side of house and techno, crafting tracks suitable for both late-night club sessions and more introspective listening environments.
