Supernova

Supernova is a DJ and producer duo from Florence, Italy, comprising Giacomo Godi and Emiliano Nencioni. The pair founded Lapsus Music in 2009 and began releasing tracks in 2010, establishing themselves as consistent contributors to the Italian house scene over the following decade.

Their sound centers on tech house and deep house, with occasional forays into driving techno and traditional house formats. Supernova releases primarily on their own Lapsus Music imprint, while also appearing on established labels including Stereo Productions, Mother Recordings, Downtown Underground, and Incorrect. With 110 releases between 2010 and 2020, their output demonstrates a preference for groove-driven productions that balance underground sensibilities with dancefloor functionality, making their tracks suitable for both peak-time and warm-up sets.
