Sven Väth

Sven Väth, born October 26, 1964 in Obertshausen, Germany, began DJing at age 18 at Frankfurt's Dorian Gray club. He co-founded influential labels Eye Q Records, Harthouse, and Cocoon Recordings, while also operating the OMEN and Cocoon Club venues. Väth produces under aliases including R U Ready, Vaeth 3, and Sam Vision, establishing himself as one of Germany's most internationally recognized DJs and producers over his decades-long career.

Väth's sound spans techno, tech house, melodic house & techno, and classic house, with releases appearing on his own Cocoon Recordings and Turbo Recordings since 2010. His productions range from peak time driving techno to more melodic electronic compositions, maintaining the high-energy aesthetic that defines his marathon vinyl-only DJ sets. Between 2010 and 2024, he has released 13 tracks through Electrobuzz's tracking system, demonstrating his continued activity in contemporary electronic music production alongside his legendary DJ career.
