About
Sweet LA is a three-member electronic music project from Weymouth, Dorset, consisting of Shawn Keys, Garry Brookes, and Paul Bown. The group made their debut in December 2023 with their first release and has since produced nine tracks across multiple labels. They operate primarily within the UK house music circuit, building their catalog through consistent output over the past two years.
The trio specializes in house music with strong UK garage and bassline influences, creating funky house tracks that blend contemporary UK dance floor sensibilities with classic house structures. Sweet LA releases music through BIG Speaker Music, Robotical Grooves, and Motive Records, establishing themselves within the UK's underground house scene. Their sound maintains the energy and rhythm patterns typical of UK garage while incorporating the groove-heavy elements that define funky house, making their tracks suitable for peak-time sets in both house and UK garage contexts.
