Synergy

Synergy is the electronics project of American synthesizer player Lawrence Roger Fast, born December 10, 1951, in Livingston, New Jersey. Fast established the Synergy project in 1975, initially creating compositions that mixed Western classical music influences with original material using synthesizers. The project operates as a group configuration, with Fast serving as the primary creative force behind the electronic compositions.

Synergy's sound spans multiple electronic genres including house, drum & bass, Afro house, minimal/deep tech, and tech house. The project releases music on labels including Blackout Music NL and Curation Best Of 2025, with six releases documented between March 2025 and December 2025. Fast's approach has evolved from classical-influenced ambient electronic music to more rock-based compositions incorporating additional instruments, though he has also produced pure ambient works like "Computer Experiments," created through randomly controlled computer programming.
