Syntax Error

Syntax Error is the project of Christian Schachta, who began DJing in 1998 with drum and bass and psychedelic trance in underground clubs before shifting to techno after visiting Berlin's Tresor Club in late 1998. The German producer operates under several aliases including Snork and Series, and runs the Snork Enterprises label where he has released his material since 2011. Schachta has performed at venues including Fusion-Club in Münster and Tresor in Berlin throughout his career.

His sound spans peak time driving techno, classic Detroit electro, melodic house and techno, and raw hypnotic techno, with releases appearing exclusively on Snork Enterprises from 2011 through 2025. Syntax Error's productions blend abstract electronic elements with groovy experimental textures, delivering what Schachta describes as his signature approach to electronic music. His discography includes eight releases that demonstrate his evolution from underground club DJ to producer across multiple electronic subgenres, maintaining a consistent output over more than a decade of activity.
