Takaaki Itoh

Takaaki Itoh is a Japanese techno producer, DJ and promoter who began releasing music in 2015. He operates under the alias Yarda and founded the Wols label. Based in Japan, Itoh has established himself in the international techno circuit through releases on respected imprints including Planet Rhythm, Triple Vision Music Group, and Att series.

Itoh produces peak time driving techno alongside raw, deep hypnotic variations and dub techno explorations. His releases appear on labels such as Immaterial.Archives and Phyr Records, spanning a range from hard-hitting club weapons to more atmospheric compositions. His sound encompasses the full spectrum of contemporary techno, from relentless peak-hour tracks designed for main room floors to deeper, more introspective pieces that incorporate dub techno's spacious textures and hypnotic elements.
