Talismann

Guy Blanken produces techno under the alias Talismann from Amsterdam, Netherlands. He began releasing music in 2014 and operates his own Talismann label, which has served as the exclusive home for his eight releases spanning over a decade. Blanken also produces under the aliases Makam and Terry Hengers, and collaborates as part of Slagmann alongside percussion ensemble Slagwerkgroep Den Haag.

Talismann's sound centers on peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, crafted specifically for dancefloor impact. His productions on the Talismann label demonstrate a consistent focus on hard-hitting rhythms and immersive atmospheres that cater to prime time DJ sets. The project has maintained steady output since 2014, with releases continuing through 2025, establishing Talismann as a reliable source for Amsterdam's contribution to contemporary European techno.
