Tapefeed

Tapefeed is an Italian electronic music duo comprising Alessandro Boni and Rick Vayo. The project emerged from an extended period of back-to-back DJ sessions between the two producers, leading to their first release in April 2020. Since forming, the duo has released 8 tracks across several respected underground labels.

Tapefeed produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno that spans from driving peak-time material to more introspective electronica. Their releases appear on labels including MORD, Houndstooth, Token, Counterchange Recordings, and Metempsychosis Records. The duo blends ambient textures with tribal percussion elements and heavy basslines, creating material suitable for both deep warehouse sets and peak-time dancefloor moments. Their sound incorporates hypnotic repetition and atmospheric depth, positioning their tracks within the raw and deep techno spectrum while maintaining the driving energy characteristic of contemporary European techno production.
