Taran

There are multiple artists named Taran: 1) Polish black metal band. 2) Ukrainian jazz producer.

1) Taran is an anti-Christian black metal band from Krosno Odrzańskie, Poland, formed in 2002. They released a demo in 2003 and a split with Moontower in 2004. Current members are: Venr (vocals, bass), Nechrist (guitars) and Ialbaoth (drums).

2) Eugene Taran (Євген Таран), symply known as Taran, is an alternative jazz producer and multimedia artist from Ukraine. Taran is first heard of in 1986, performing in very experimental, underground bands in Ukraine's independent music scene, including Цукор біла смерть. The jazz and hip-hop influenced Taran most listeners are familiar with did not emerge until 1992. Read more on Last.fm.
