Technasia

Technasia is a Hong Kong-originated electronic music group founded in 1996 by Charles Siegling and Amil Khan, who met in Hong Kong during the 1990s. Charles Siegling, raised and based in Paris, continued the project as a solo act after Amil Khan's departure in 2008. The duo initially established their own Technasia label in 1996 with the goal of representing South East Asia in the global electronic dance music scene. Siegling has also released music under the alias Popsoda.

Technasia produces tech house and peak time driving techno, with releases spanning house music as well. The project has released tracks on established labels including Toolroom, Ibadan Records, Rawthentic, and Humans Alike, with 19 releases documented since 2010. Their sound caters to peak time DJ sets with driving, club-focused productions that maintain consistent energy levels. Technasia's output demonstrates a focus on dancefloor-oriented tracks that translate effectively in club environments, with their tech house productions featuring the tempo and groove structures that work across different points in a DJ set.
