Ted Amber

Ted Amber is a UK-based DJ and producer who founded the Botanic Minds label. Operating under his own name since 2014, he also releases music under the alias Autochrome. His debut release appeared on Botanic Minds in October 2014, establishing both his artistic career and label simultaneously.

Amber produces minimal deep tech and deep house tracks that sit comfortably in the 120-125 BPM range. His sound centers around stripped-back arrangements with subtle percussion work and warm, rolling basslines that work equally well in intimate club settings and larger dance floors. All six of his releases between 2014 and 2022 have appeared on his own Botanic Minds imprint, giving him complete creative control over his output. His tracks maintain a consistent aesthetic that blends the hypnotic elements of minimal techno with the groove-focused approach of deep house.
