Teig Artist Bio

Derek Roberts (teig) has been involved with music since he was a child. Never buying into the music pushed onto him by his peers, his first purchased album was an old 90s dance single, “Can You Feel It?” by Matrix. As his interest in electronic dance music progressed into high school and into college, Derek found his music tastes maturing, looking not for the “next big bomb” or a “hit track”, but for the dance music that can touch the soul while still being effective dance music. As he approaches the upcoming years, Derek is dedicated to producing quality music, performing airtight DJ sets, and to move people through an emotional journey.

Derek has played many shows around Atlanta, including Afterlife’s Electric Spring series, several Bubblicious events with Underground Syndicate, and other events such as internet radio broadcasts (Dance or Die, etc). Derek is also a co-host of EDM Sound System, the strongest electronic dance music radio show in the southeast, hosted by WREK 91.1 FM. Read more on Last.fm.
