Terry Francis

Terry Francis is an English DJ and producer born in Epsom on July 28, 1966. His career began in 1988 when he co-promoted an acid house night at Hamilton's wine bar in Leatherhead while working as a roofer. Francis became a resident at Sterns in Worthing in 1990 and worked at Swag Records during his early years. He co-owned the Eye 4 Sound and Wiggle labels, and served as promoter and resident DJ for Groove Kitchen and Wiggle in the mid-1990s. Francis has also released music under the aliases Love Panda and Klunk + Zilly, and hosted shows on Energy 87.9 FM.

Francis produces tech house and deep house with minimal and deep tech influences, releasing on Default Position and Moody Recordings since 2012. His sound operates within the 120-128 BPM range typical of tech house, delivering steady, groove-focused tracks that maintain dancefloor momentum without excessive aggression. Francis has maintained consistent output over more than a decade, with his most recent release scheduled for May 2025. His productions emphasize subtle percussion programming and filtered basslines characteristic of the UK's deeper house sound, making his tracks suitable for both peak-time and after-hours sets.
