The Layabouts

The Layabouts are a UK production trio from North London comprising Leigh Darlow, Ben Logan, and Alex Paschali. The group operates their own label, Soulworks Recordings, and maintains a focus on soulful house music with vocal-driven releases. They began releasing music through Electrobuzz-tracked labels in July 2022.
The trio produces house and Afro house tracks characterized by their soulful approach and emphasis on vocal elements. Their releases appear on Papa Records and Foliage Records, with six documented releases spanning from 2022 to 2025. The Layabouts craft dance-oriented house music that incorporates pop sensibilities while maintaining the groove-focused foundation of their North London house sound.
