The Maghreban

The Maghreban is the moniker of Ayman Rostom, an electronic music producer from Guildford who operates from London. He also releases music under the aliases Ayman and Dr. Zygote. Rostom began releasing music as The Maghreban in 2014, with his debut release appearing on October 28 of that year.

The Maghreban produces house and techno with African influences, spanning from downtempo electronica to peak-time driving techno. His releases appear on established labels including R&S Records and !K7 Records. The sound incorporates bass-heavy elements and rave sensibilities, creating tracks that work across different sections of a DJ set.
