The Young Punx

The Young Punx is a London-based electronic music group formed in 2003 by Hal Ritson and Cameron Saunders. The project operates as a collaborative effort incorporating additional members including Guthrie Govan, Laura Kidd, and Michele Balduzzi, creating dance music that draws from diverse musical genres. The group also releases music under the alias Mohito and began appearing on electronic music platforms with their first tracked release in August 2022.

The Young Punx produces music spanning house, techno, deep house, melodic house & techno, and minimal/deep tech genres. Their releases appear on the d:vision label, with seven documented releases between 2022 and 2025. Their sound encompasses both peak time driving techno and deeper house territories, offering DJs tracks suitable for various stages of a set from warm-up deep house cuts to driving peak time techno. The group's approach to incorporating elements from multiple genres translates into productions that move between minimal/deep tech atmospheres and more melodic house & techno arrangements.
