Thomas P Heckmann

Thomas Peter Heckmann is a German electronic music producer from Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, who began releasing music in 1991 under the alias Exit 100 on Frankfurt's Force Inc. Music Works label. He operates under several aliases including Age, Drax, and Skydiver, and has established himself as a prolific label owner, founding Trope Recordings in 1993 and its sub-label Acid Fuckers Unite (A.F.U.) in 1994. In 1998 he launched Wavescape Records, followed by its sub-label Sub~wave in 2000.

Heckmann produces peak time driving techno characterized by relentless energy and acid house influences, drawing from his extensive experience in the German electronic music scene since the early 1990s. His Electrobuzz catalog from 2011 to 2014 demonstrates his focus on high-intensity techno designed for peak-hour dancefloor moments. The combination of his three-decade career span and multiple label operations positions him as both a veteran producer and active curator within the techno underground.
