Throwing Snow

Throwing Snow is the project of UK-based producer Ross Tones, who began releasing electronic music in 2014. Tones also produces under the alias Alight and runs the label A Future Without while working as a Music Consultant at Hear No Evil.

His sound spans electronica, peak time techno, dubstep, and house, with releases appearing primarily on Houndstooth and Mesh. The music ranges from driving techno arrangements to more experimental electronic compositions, demonstrating a versatility that moves between dancefloor-focused productions and atmospheric electronic work. With 12 releases tracked since 2014, Throwing Snow maintains an active release schedule that extends into 2025, consistently working within the UK's electronic music scene across multiple tempo ranges and energy levels.
