Tilman is the alias of Tilman Schwarz, a German DJ, producer and label owner based in Mainz. He began releasing electronic music in 2014 and has issued 20 releases across various underground labels. Schwarz operates under both his full name Tilman Schwarz and the shortened moniker Tilman.
His productions span deep house, house, peak time techno, classic Detroit electro, and melodic house & techno. Tilman releases on established underground labels including Shall Not Fade, Pleasant Systems, Fine, Faces Records, and Footjob. His sound ranges from deeper, grooving house cuts to driving peak time techno tracks, often incorporating classic electro influences and melodic elements. Since his debut in 2014, he has maintained consistent output across multiple genres while developing a style that bridges the gap between house's groove-oriented approach and techno's harder edge.
