Smailes operates under several aliases including Whose Party, Out Of Order, and Blue 101, with his Timelapse project serving as his primary outlet across 14 releases spanning over a decade of production work.

The Timelapse sound centers on melodic house and techno, with deep house and indie dance elements woven throughout his catalog.
